Brunswick Corp. named Steve Langlais president of its Princecraft brand of freshwater boats.
He succeeds Donald Dubois, who recently became president of European boats for Brunswick. Langlais will report to Jeff Kinsey, president of the Brunswick freshwater group.
Langlais joins Brunswick from Soucy International, where he spent four years in leadership roles, most recently as vice president of operations and product development for its international track division. Previously he was responsible for sales and marketing for the company.
Before that, Langlais spent 16 years at Bombardier in positions such as general manager for the advanced technology center; director of engineering and procurement for ATV and side-by-side vehicles; and other engineering roles in its recreational products divisions.
Langlais has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Laval University in Quebec City, Canada, and an MBA from Sherbrooke University, which is also in Quebec. Langlais will be based in Princeville, Quebec.
