Chapparal Boats said it expanded the role of senior vice president Mike Fafard to oversee manufacturing at the company.
Already senior vice president of engineering and design, Fafard now is also senior vice president of manufacturing, the company said in a statement.
Fafard will lead manufacturing operations with a team composed of more than 700 workers. He joined Chaparral in 2005 as head of engineering and design, and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry.
“Mike has exhibited the talent, passion and strong work ethic to expand his role and further the critical integration of engineering and manufacturing,” said Buck Pegg, executive vice president of Chaparral and Robalo. “I am confident in his abilities to lead both teams.”
