Correct Craft announced that it acquired Indmar Marine Engines. Indmar will be operated by Correct Craft subsidiary Liberty Technologies, which includes PCM Engines, Crusader Engines, Levitator Engines and Velvet Drive Transmissions.

“It’s a strategic acquisition we believe will be good for everyone involved,” Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin told Trade Only Today. “It allows us to offer Indmar customers PCM products and Indmar products to PCM customers.

“They have a great engineering team, and they have great access to Ford [Motor Co.],” he added.

Indmar will operate independently at its headquarters in Millington, Tenn., and will supply its current boatbuilder customers and dealer network.

“The acquisition by Correct Craft provides significant opportunities for long-term growth and provides additional security for our employees, boatbuilding partners and network of dealers,” Chuck Rowe, former Indmar president, said in a statement.

Added Liberty Technologies president Mark McKinney: “I am excited about the opportunity to continue the legacy of Indmar and to work with the team to support and provide additional features, products and opportunities that will elevate Indmar and its OEMS to new heights.”
