Correct Craft sent some 100 employees from its facilities across the United States to Monticello, Ark. — where SeaArk Boats is based — for two weeks this month to help three local organizations.
“Over the years, Correct Craft employees have traveled worldwide to serve others,” president and CEO Bill Yeargin said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have 100 employees traveling to Monticello this year.”
At the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services Center, teams worked for 10 days on two projects, including painting a pavilion and building two gazebos.
The Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home had a gazebo rebuilt, and the Options Domestic Violence Shelter was remodeled, with a revamped kitchen, a new storage building, and paint and flooring throughout.
“My heart is overflowing,” Danna Carpenter of the Options safe house said in the statement. “We are excited to have friends from our fellow Correct Craft companies travel to Monticello and join us in making a significant investment in our community.”
