French yacht manufacturer Chantier Naval Couach released the first renderings of its updated 121.4-foot 3700 Sport model.
Six versions of the 3700 have been delivered through the years and Couach decided to redo the designs to keep up with today’s trends.
“Between presence and power, the 3700 Sport Couach is a sporty and elegant yacht,” Couach CEO Walter Ceglia said in a statement. “Our in-house creative and technical teams have reinterpreted its identity and design to come up with a yacht as intelligent and modern as it is seductive.”
The 3700 Sport takes design cues from luxury automobiles, contemporary architecture and naval design. It’s available as a four- or five-cabin arrangement with accommodations for as many as 10 guests and six crew.
A large main saloon incorporates lounging and dining areas, and suspended ceilings enhance the headroom in the cabins.

Borrowing from the earlier Couach 3700 Fly, the sport model has sunpads on the foredeck and the duplex aft deck features a “bathing beach” fitted out with a shower, umbrella and a diving board with a ladder just steps from the aft cockpit, where there is an outdoor galley with a grill. There’s a garage for the tender and up top, the flybridge is spacious.

Living up to her sport-inspired design, the new model has a top speed of 28 knots and the boat will be constructed from fiberglass. With a draft of slightly more than 6 feet, the 3700 Sport can venture into secluded shallow bays, and gyroscopic stabilizers ensure a pleasant experience when at anchor or underway.
