Grady-White Boats expanded its offering of SureShade-equipped boats with the addition of five newly retrofitted boat models this year.

Grady-White models retrofitted to include SureShade as a factory option include the 225, 235, 255, 275 and 285 in the Freedom series.

SureShade said retrofitted models give Grady-White customers the option of purchasing a new boat already equipped with a SureShade retractable shade at the factory, as opposed to ordering a shade as an aftermarket addition.

As one of SureShade’s top OEM clients, Grady-White also was the first U.S. boatbuilder to offer SureShade as a standard factory feature with the 2013 debut of its Freedom 375. Grady-White has since continued to debut new models equipped with SureShade to meet customer demand, in addition to retrofitting existing models.

Grady-White now offers SureShade on 12 boat models.

“Over the last five years we have significantly increased the number of boat models offering SureShade to meet the growing demand for a quality sunshade solution for our customers,” Grady-White Boats president Kris Carroll said in a statement.

“Incorporating innovative features like SureShade’s sunshade systems has contributed considerably to Grady-White’s reputation of delivering the ultimate boating experience for our customers and selling more boats.”
