Midwest-based SkipperBud’s is now a dealer for Groupe Beneteau’s Powerboats Division, adding the Gran Turismo, Monte Carlo and Swift Trawler lines to dealerships in eastern Michigan and Ohio.
The company expects to have model year 2019 boats, including the Gran Turismo 40 and 46, in showrooms soon, with the Swift Trawler 35 to follow.
“This is a natural evolution for SkipperBud’s,” Mike Pretasky Jr., president of SkipperBud’s, said in a statement. “Beneteau is already a wonderful partner. SkipperBud’s has been a large Four Winns, Glastron and Scarab dealer throughout the Midwest for many years.”
“We are delighted to include SkipperBud’s in Beneteau Powerboats’ network,” said Jean-Francois Lair, director of sales for Groupe Beneteau. “We share the same values with SkipperBud’s, which is a long-established family business.”
