GROUPE BENETEAU PHOTOGroupe Beneteau has reorganized its boat division around three business segments: sailing, dayboating powerboats from 20 to 40 feet, and real estate on the water, including yachts from 40 to 80 feet.
In a statement, the company said, the “new organization will enable Groupe Beneteau to pursue its transformation as a multispecialist player in the boating industry, in order to be as close as possible to the expectations of its customers and a rapidly evolving market.”
As part of the reorganization, the company added to its management team.
Clément Himily was named general manager of the sailing unit. He has more than 15 years of recreational boating industry experience and joined Groupe Beneteau in 2017.
Yannick Madiot was named general manager of the dayboating unit. He was vice president of finance and administration for Beneteau USA for eight years, starting in 2002. He was also operations director for North America in the boat division of Groupe Beneteau from 2019 to 2021.
Michelangelo Casadei was appointed general manager of the real estate on the water unit. He previously led the Finnish plant and operations for Nautor Swan Group and worked for Ferretti Group as quality director and engineering director.
“I am delighted with the appointments of Clément Himily, Yannick Madiot and Michelangelo Casadei, and wish them every success in fulfilling their missions at the head of these new business units,” boat division CEO Gianguido Girotti said in the statement. “This reorganization of the boat division will enable our group to continue its transformation as a multispecialist.”
