Heyday Inboards awarded its brand management contract to Pearl Brands of Fort Myers, Fla., until 2018.

Pearl Brands has been under contract with the Bayliner brand since early 2015 and added Heyday following Brunswick’s acquisition of it in late August.

“We’re very proud that our work to date for Bayliner has earned us this additional responsibility,” Pearl Brands president Scott Qurollo said in a statement. “It’s a privilege to be trusted with growing an up-and-coming brand — and one destined for success in the wake-sports category.”

Qurollo creative director Tom Calabrese and the Pearl Brands team were tapped because of the agency’s work for Bayliner and the pair’s long history of experience. Dating back to the early 1990s, the team first worked together on a long list of brands including Sea Doo, Volvo Penta, Wellcraft and the then OMC Aluminum Boat Group.

“Scott, Tom and the Pearl Brands team understand our business and are the kind of marketing partner we need to grow this brand,” Bayliner president Keith Yunger said. “The wake/surf category is extremely competitive and keeping relevant, intriguing messages in front of our target customer is key. Pearl Brands’ work for Bayliner has proven they do this well.”

In addition to Bayliner and Heyday, Pearl Brands’ current client list features companies including IGY Marinas, Southwest Florida Marine Industries Association, Uflex, USF Federal Credit Union, the University of Florida and Salt Island Seaplanes.
