The Hinckley Company announced the acquisition of Campbell’s Boatyard at Bachelor Point in Oxford, Md. The facility has a 75- and a 25-ton travelift, more than 30,000 square feet of shop space, 56 floating dock slips, a 1.5-acre dry storage facility and deepwater access, among other features.
“This is more than a strategic acquisition; it’s the alignment of two companies that believe in doing things the right way, and in taking care of boaters the way they deserve,” Gavin McClintock, CEO of Hinckley, said in a statement. “We’re proud to welcome the Campbell’s team into the Hinckley family.”
All Campbell’s staff will remain on board, preserving the yard’s relationships while giving customers immediate access to Hinckley’s national service resources, the statement said. The acquisition joins Hinckley’s expanding service network, which includes locations from Maine to Florida.
