LCI Industries announced the retirement of board member David Reed. Reed’s departure concludes 22 years of board service and marks the end of an era for the Elkhart, Ind.-based supplier of engineered components.

“LCI Industries has been incredibly fortunate to have David Reed serve on our board of directors for over two decades,” board chairman Tracy Graham said in a statement. “His deep financial expertise, thoughtful governance insights and steady leadership have helped shape the company.”

A veteran of Ernst & Young, Reed held several senior leadership roles during his 26-year tenure at the firm before retiring as senior vice chair in 2000. He later served as president of a private investment management company and held board roles at multiple public and private firms. Reed joined LCI’s board in 2003 and contributed to the audit, risk, and strategy, acquisition and capital deployment committees.

President and CEO Jason Lippert said in the statement that Reed’s “experience, perspective and integrity have guided the company through transformative periods,” and that his legacy will continue to influence Lippert for years.
