Otam launched its new 115-foot Custom Range, M/Y Gipsy, and will debut the yacht at the Sept. 28-Oct. 1 Monaco Yacht Show.
The Otam SD35 has a displacement of 295 gross tons, at the maximum limit of the category, offering superior volumes for the 300-gross-ton category, the builder said.
The aluminum yacht’s interior layout and exterior lines have been assigned to international yacht designer Tommasi Spadolini.
Naval architect Umberto Tagliavini designed a semidisplacement hull that Otam said will give the SD35 a top speed of 20 knots and a range of more than 2,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.
