Marine and RV components manufacturer and distributor Patrick Industries this week announced that Jake Petkovich, executive vice president of finance, chief financial officer and treasurer, is stepping down to pursue a leadership position at another company.

Petkovich has served as CFO since 2020. Senior vice president of finance Matthew Filer will serve as interim CFO until a permanent replacement is found.

“Jake was instrumental in further strengthening our finance and accounting infrastructure, driving efficiencies through process improvement, supporting our capital allocation strategy, and developing and leading a strong and talented team aligned with our overall strategic growth plan,” CEO Andy Nemeth said in a statement.

According to the statement, Patrick’s board of directors approved Filer’s appointment as interim CFO. He will assume the position upon Petkovich’s departure in May. Filer joined the company in November 2022.

Patrick is initiating a formal search for a permanent CFO, which includes assessing internal and external candidates.
