Pursuit Boats named Les Ares as business development manager for South Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Ares most recently worked at Lumishore, where he was vice president of sales and marketing. He has 11 years of sales and marketing experience in the boating industry, a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida International University and an M.B.A.
Ares has extensive experience in distribution management, training, strategic planning and the implementation of practical initiatives. He grew up in Miami and has a Coast Guard OUPV (6-pack) captain’s license. He is also a member of the International Yacht Brokers Association and has completed the certified National Marine Electronics Association installation program.
He will focus on the strategic growth of Pursuit dealers in his markets of responsibility and expansion in the Caribbean and Latin American countries.

Ares will relocate to the Treasure Coast with his wife and two children.
