Scout Boats yesterday announced that it hired Bailey Barnette as sales coordinator and promoted Carol Anne Henry to marketing manager.
The builder said in a statement that Barnette will be responsible for dealer orders, production schedules and shipping logistics, and will also coordinate custom orders. She previously spent more than four years as a service advisor at Blanchard Machinery Co. in Summerville, S.C.
“Bailey will be a key asset for us in our sales coordinator role,” Scout president Dave Wallace said in the statement. “She’s an organized, professional and detail-oriented individual, and we’re excited about bringing her on board.”
Scout promoted Henry, previously sales coordinator, to marketing manager. She will manage marketing and event planning efforts with director of sales and marketing Alan Lang and brand management firm Tinsley Creative.
“Carol Anne has been an incredible asset and has done a phenomenal job in her more than three-year history with us, and we know she will further excel in her new role,” Wallace said.
