Mirroring reports of record sales among builders at the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, Scout Boats yesterday announced an approximate 13 percent year-over-year increase in total retail sales during the show’s five-day run.

Scout also took the wraps off the new 400 LXF center console, which brought the total number of boats it displayed at the Miami Beach Convention Center and Sea Isle Marina to 11.

“We have continued to set new retail sales records each year at [Miami] since 2015,” director of sales and marketing Alan Lang said in a statement. “This year we — like everyone in the industry — are continually battling supply-chain hurdles, but to showcase less than half of our full product lineup … and yet still achieve our best [Miami show] ever, it truly speaks to our brand, our team and our continued push for innovations.”

Lang added that attendance at the Scout display “was steady, with a lot of qualified prospects, as well as current customers interested in upgrading to larger models. Our in-water 530 LXF also received a lot of attention at Sea Isle.”
