Solace Boats yesterday announced that it added Yamaha Marine Center of Jacksonville, Fla., to its dealer network. It will sell and service the builder’s line of center consoles throughout northeastern Florida and southern Georgia.
Based in Orange Park, Fla., Yamaha Marine Center has serviced the greater Jacksonville and southern Georgia markets since 2011, offering both sales and service. The dealership operates out of a 20,000-square-foot facility.
“Yamaha Marine Center is very well respected and recognized in marine industry circles and is highly committed to delivering exceptional customer service, backed by its superior Google reviews and CSI scores,” Solace founder Stephen Dougherty said in a statement. “We are very proud to partner with such an outstanding, customer-centric organization and look forward to jointly building the Solace brand presence and market share in this important Florida region.”
Don Passell, founder/general manager of Yamaha Marine Center said he and his team studied the Solace brand prior to making the agreement. “We appreciate the proximity of the factory to our dealership along with the manufacturer’s commitment to continually elevating the brand on a national level and educating boaters about its many distinctions and performance traits that set it in a class of its own,” he said in the statement.
