Tecnorib introduced its Pirelli 1900 RIB during a ceremony Sunday at the Monaco Yacht Club in Monte Carlo.
Guests who attended the unveiling in the Pirelli Suite had the opportunity to see a scale model of the boat. The full-size model is scheduled to be unveiled at the 2017 Cannes Boat Show in September and will be the flagship for the Pirelli brand.
Tecnorib has been the licensee for the Pirelli brand of RIBs since 2005. The new model’s inflatable tubes will have the tread pattern of the Pirelli wet tire that open-wheel car racing teams use in wet conditions.
