Viking Yacht Co. launched the 54 Convertible at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last fall, and NBC Sports gave it “Best of Show” honors. It’s the 10th model the New Gretna, N.J.-based builder has launched in the 50- to 60-foot range since 2000.

Viking announced in a statement that it will add three new express-style models based on the 54 C. The 54 Open, 54 Sport Coupe and 54 Sport Tower will ride the 54 C hull, with topside configurations and accommodations unique to each model.
All three share cockpit and command deck layouts, with raised mezzanine seating atop cooler and freezer space. They are available in two- and three-stateroom versions, and each has a forward master stateroom with private head.

A pair of 1,400-hp MAN V-12 diesels is standard, with 1,550-hp engines available as an option. An Onan 21.5-kW genset also is standard equipment.
