In the wake of the earthquakes in Puerto Rico, which affected many in the Viking Yacht community, one person at the New Jersey-based builder jumped into action.
Billeny Padula works in Viking’s medical department at company headquarters in New Gretna. Her family in Puerto Rico fared well in the earthquake, but she wanted help others. So she and colleagues Steve Marks and Carol Langdon reached out to companies that supply medical products to Viking Yacht Co.
Bell Medical and McKesson Medical-Surgical provided antibiotics, ointments, over-the-counter medications and other supplies that Padula and her crew sent to medical teams in Puerto Rico.
