Soundings Trade Only and partners Metstrade, British Marine and Marine Industry News this morning during Metstrade hosted the fourth annual Women in the Industry International panel discussion. The session was moderated by Soundings Trade Only Group vice president and general manager Michele Goldsmith, and drew an estimated audience of 160 people.

Panel members included Navico Group president and Brunswick Corp. chief technology officer Aine Denari, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit planning director Andrea Tetto, Barton Marine CEO Suzanne Blaustone, and Cannes Yachting Festival director Sylvie Ernoult.

The session opened with an update on the Global Women’s Walk, which took place in May to benefit the charity Room to Read, which promotes equality for girls and the eradication of illiteracy through its Girls’ Education Program. The walk raised $5,000, and a second is planned for next May.
