Avikus, HD Hyundai’s autonomous navigation division, is partnering with Raymarine to debut its NeuBoat Dock at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
NeuBoat Dock, the first in a series of new-product rollouts, consists of a six-camera system based on Avikus’ advanced autonomous vessel technology. It provides a 360-degree view of the boat through a multifunction display to assist in close-quarters maneuvering and docking.
Features include:
• dock-to-dock route planning and autonomous navigation
• AI-based obstacle detection and collision avoidance
• automated docking and undocking assistance
Several builders are showcasing the technology on their boats during the Cannes.
“We are very pleased to officially launch our NeuBoat Dock solution to the recreational boating market,” Avikus CEO Lim Do-hyeong said in a statement. “NeuBoat offers unparalleled situational awareness when docking, and we are confident boaters will immediately appreciate the peace of mind it provides.”
The Cannes Yachting Festival runs Sept. 12-17.
