Rental and on-water experience company Boatsetter last week announced that it has seen triple-digit growth in pontoon boat rentals year-to-date compared with the same period in 2021. The company also announced that its shared rental fleet has grown 50 percent.
Boatsetter said in a statement that it has seen a 378 percent year-over-year increase in interest in pontoon rentals, 332 percent increased interest in party-boat rentals, 261 percent increased interest in fishing charters, and 254 percent increased interest in yacht charters.
“Boating and water sports have been out of reach for so many, whether it’s an issue of access, prohibitive costs or lack of awareness of all the activities you can do on the water,” Boatsetter CEO Jackie Baumgarten said in the statement. “Boatsetter is committed to a ‘sea’s the limit’ approach to water experiences. We believe that life is better on the water.”
