Sea-Doo parent BRP this month celebrates it 20th anniversary. In two decades, the company has grown from 7,500 employees to 23,000 in 26 countries, and revenues have more than quadrupled from $1.8 billion to $7.46 billion. BRP now offers eight powersports product lines.

“I’ve had the privilege of being president and CEO of BRP since its founding,” José Boisjoli said in a statement. “When Bombardier made the decision to sell its recreational products division 20 years ago, I told all the employees that this was our chance to prove to the world what we could succeed as a standalone company. We took bold risks to deliver the best experiences to our rider communities across all of our product lines.”

BRP is still headquartered in Valcourt, Quebec, and has a network of nearly 3,000 dealers in 130 countries. The company has invested in communities in Finland, Mexico and the United States and has 14 manufacturing facilities worldwide.
