Garmin yesterday announced that it received the Supplier of the Year award from Independent Boatbuilders Inc., a purchasing cooperative with 15 members representing 25% of all boats built in the United States.
“Garmin is once again honored to be selected by the members of IBBI for the prestigious Supplier of the Year award,” Garmin senior director of marine and RV sales Dave Dunn said in a statement. “This award is a testament to our strong collaboration with IBBI and a shared commitment to providing best-in-class products, service and support to our mutual customers.”
IBBI presented the award to Garmin earlier this month at its annual supplier conference in Orlando, Fla. This is the fourth time IBBI has named Garmin Supplier of the Year.
