Global Ocean Security Technologies held its annual dealer training seminar on July 21 at the Bahia Mar Hotel in Fort Lauderdale.
The event drew more than 100 marine technicians and salespeople. Dealers were introduced to new products, sales tools and a technical overview of the product line.
“The certified NMRA marine electronics installers’ time is extremely valuable and GOST recognizes our dealers sacrifice to become more knowledgeable about our products,” Brian Kane, CTO of GOST, said in a statement.
The seminar began with a sales overview of the newest product innovations, including the new GOST Apparition, followed by the GOST Watch HD XVR and the 1080p and PTZ camera.
A sales review was followed by technical coverage of the complete GOST line of security, tracking, monitoring, access control video surveillance, acoustic deterrent and cloaking systems.
Two vessels — a 62-foot Azimut from Phantom Services and a 37-foot demonstrator from Boston Whaler — were used to give the attendees hands-on training.
Allison Gay was honored as GOST’s Employee of the Year.
“Allison is an integral part of our organization, and the dedication she has shown is evident in the success of the company and this event,” said Jay Keenan, president and CEO of GOST. “We hope the attendees enjoyed it as much as we did.”
