Lockheed Martin recognized Structural Composites for what it called outstanding support during a ceremony in Orlando, Fla.
Each year, Lockheed Martin businesses nominate and select small companies that have provided outstanding support and products during the past year. Although the corporation has thousands of suppliers, only a few small businesses are recognized for outstanding quality in goods and services. Florida-based Structural Composites was among 21 companies that Lockheed Martin honored this year.
“It is such an incredible honor to receive this award from the world’s largest defense contractor,” Structural Composites president Scott Lewit said in a statement.
“Lockheed Martin has been a great partner to our company. Over the past 20 years we have worked in the roles of subcontractor, lead contractor and team member to Lockheed Martin. Together we are working hard to advance the next generation of affordable composite technology. Thank you to Lockheed Martin for their dedication to working with and mentoring small businesses.”
