U.K.-based McMurdo is expanding its product portfolio to include complete professional maritime and land-based tracking and monitoring systems with the launch of McMurdo Marine Systems.
McMurdo will now offer a number of marine system-based products that were previously marketed and sold by sister company Orolia SaS, including:
• The Kanaton range of AIS A-to-N Beacons and accessories
• The Oceania Marine Tracking and Monitoring Buoy
• The VLink Vessel Monitoring System and electronic log book
These products will now be sold under the McMurdo brand via a new product catalog, McMurdo “Systems for Professionals,” and a dedicated website.
“The launch of McMurdo Marine Systems follows a realignment of the Orolia Group and a simplified portfolio of brands,” Orolia Positioning Division director Jeremy Harrison said in a statement. “The strategic changes across the McMurdo product portfolio further enhances our product offering through our international network of distributors and benefits from the integration of our research and development teams.”
