Marine electronics manufacturer Navico said it appointed Scott Nagel as its new territory sales manager for the southwest United States.

The company said Nagel will be based in Mission Viejo, Calif., and his territory will cover California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Hawaii.

Navico said Nagel has been in the industry for many years, working as an independent sales representative for brands such as Daiwa, Rapala, Flambeau, Penn, Beretta and Sig Sauer.

“We are very excited to bring in an experienced professional to fill this important position,” Navico CEO Leif Ottosson said in a statement. “We believe we have found a great fit with Scott and are looking forward to applying his expertise and focus to manage our interests in this vital region.”

Navico is the parent company of the Lowrance, Simrad and B&G brands.
