Compass manufacturer Ritchie Navigation is reporting 30 percent growth year over year and record sales, which led to the company to add a sixth workday and night shifts to meet demand.
“Having products made in the U.S.A. has given us a clear advantage this past year when so many companies are struggling with logistics. Our team also forecasted well and positioned us to increase production,” president Jon Sherman said in a statement.

The company said its relationships with U.S. suppliers, plus strategic planning in early 2020, enabled it to increase inventory and scale for growth beginning this past summer.
“Ritchie’s record sales are due to our most important resource: our dedicated family of employees,” Sherman said. “Without everyone’s hard work to propel us forward, we wouldn’t be in the sound position we’re in today.”
