Silver Arrows Marine, in conjunction with Mercedes-Benz Style, unveiled the final design and specifications for what it calls “the Silver Arrow of the seas” at the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show.
Bearing many design features of Mercedes-Benz automobiles, combined with a new approach to luxury motoryacht functionality and aesthetics, the debut yacht will be called Arrow 460-Granturismo.
The yacht will launch initially with a limited-edition, fully equipped version called Edition 1, which will cost 1.25 million euros, or nearly $175 million. The first yachts will be delivered to customers in 2015.
Final interior and exterior designs from Mercedes-Benz Style and a 2-meter scale model of the finished yacht also were displayed in Monaco.
“We have created something unique with Arrow 460-Granturismo,” Silver Arrows Marine Ltd. chairman Ron Gibbs said in a statement. “I am convinced that for many years to come the yacht will be an eye-catching addition to the seas and yacht marinas of the world.”
