Smartgyro is expanding into the Australasian market through partnerships with Power Equipment, a distributor in Australia and New Zealand, and Electrical Marine in Thailand.
Power Equipment has 398 dealers, of which 125 are marine-focused.
“We are extremely pleased to add Smartgyro to our lineup. It gives us the ability to fully service and provide a full range of propulsion, on-water power, propellers and stabilization products to our marine dealers and customers,” Power Equipment CEO Luke Foster said in a statement. “We are well-placed to grow the Smartgyro brand throughout Australia and New Zealand.”
Collaborating with Electrical Marine, a navigation equipment supplier based in Phuket, gives Smartgyro an entry into the Asian market.
