Mercury Marine has released a video of the introduction of and reaction to its new 3.4-liter V6 outboard and two other engines at the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show. The video starts with Mercury Marine president John Pfeifer welcoming the crowd to Miami and unveiling the new engine in one of its three available shades of white immediately followed by response from the industry and consumers.

The motor is available in 175, 200 and 225-hp ratings and the aforementioned three shades of white plus the traditional Phantom Black. Mercury Marine also introduced the new 150-hp Pro XS four-stroke outboard and Mercury Racing continued its dual-fuel offerings with its 1350/1100. It makes its peak power on 91-octane fuel but the engine can also run on 89 octane where it puts out 1,100 hp.
