Photo courtesy Yamaha MarineYamaha’s U.S. Marine Business Unit yesterday announced that it appointed Todd Hoobler department manager of its Marine Information Strategies Division.
Yamaha said in a statement that Hoobler’s responsibilities will include “assessing and representing the needs of the unit’s business systems and communicating those requirements to Yamaha’s national ISD department.”
Additionally, Hoobler leads the customer/client team that supports marine operational systems and processes, provides data reporting and analytics, and facilitates investment projects and initiatives.
“Todd is a valuable member of the Yamaha ISD team,” Wayne Wooding, senior manager of applications, Yamaha ISD, said in the statement. “His expertise and leadership will continue to streamline Yamaha Marine ISD functionality and improve business operational systems for Yamaha Marine dealers and builders.”
Hoobler has been part of Yamaha Marine since 2016, when he served as senior marine analyst. He is a retired Air Force non-commissioned officer and Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm combat veteran, where he specialized in logistics engineering and aircraft life-cycle sustainment.
