Yamaha yesterday announced that it appointed Mark Tracy vice president of the U.S. Marine Business Unit. Tracy will continue to oversee the power sales and marketing teams, and now also leads the marine service team.

Tracy, who started with the company in 1998, most recently was the general manager of sales and marketing for Yamaha’s marine engine systems business. Additionally, he served as division manager, overseeing relationships with the company’s boatbuilder partners. Tracy also held the position of district marketing manager for the Southwest and east coast of Florida.

“Mark continues to play a key role in defining our outboard motor go-to-market strategy and positioning our brand as one of the best and most reliable in the industry. His tenure with Yamaha includes strong growth and sales success,” Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit president Ben Speciale said in a statement.
