Yamaha Marine’s Helm Master EX control system is now available for quintuple outboard installations, the company announced.
“Helm Master EX has the ability to enhance great times on the water by making it easier for boaters and anglers alike,” said Ben Speciale, president of the Yamaha Marine U.S. Business Unit. “The expansion of Helm Master EX from single- to quint-outboard boat configurations makes the system a great fit for small center consoles to large offshore boats.”
Helm Master EX includes such functions as course and heading hold, Track Point (waypoint navigation) and pattern steer that integrates with Speed Control and Pattern Shift.
The company added that Helm Master EX can now be installed as original equipment by the boatbuilder or as an aftermarket item with repowers.
