Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit today announced the appointment of Miguel Avello as division manager, Marine Product Management. He will direct and oversee marine product planning, and work closely with market intelligence, research and development and product integration, introduction and launch teams.
“Miguel has a wealth of knowledge in product development and strategic planning, which will be valuable to the Yamaha team,” Yamaha Marine director of marine planning, Andrea Totto, said in a statement. “His leadership will also help drive innovation and ensure our premium marine products continue to lead the market.”
Prior to joining Yamaha, Miguel served as director, Engineering and Product Development for Whirlpool Corporation, where he oversaw the planning, design, development and implementation of large-scale projects.
