The Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit named Robert Orr technical services manager of the Marine Service Operations division. He is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction and with his team will provide technical and product information support by monitoring the market for outboards, WaveRunner PWC and jetboats and reporting to Yamaha factories.
“Robert has more than 23 years of experience and unique market analytical knowledge,” Jeremy Waki, marine service operations division manager, said in a statement. “His insight and the information gathered by his team help to provide the insight Yamaha needs to enhance our product offerings and ultimately deliver greater customer satisfaction.”
Orr joined Yamaha in 2000 as a regional technical advisor for all motorsports product lines and has held various other positions, including watercraft technical coordinator and watercraft accessory coordinator.
