Yamaha Marine Group will offer the Turbo line of propellers to authorized boatbuilder partners as part of an effort to provide a broader selection of propellers for the ever-growing number of applications in the market.
The Turbo line consists of more than 200 individual propellers and is manufactured by Precision Propeller Industries Inc. Until now, these propellers primarily have been distributed through the Yamaha dealer network as an aftermarket item.
“We want to provide a broader propeller selection so that our boatbuilder partners can engineer the best-performing packages for our mutual customers,” said Mark Tracy, Yamaha OEM Sales division manager.
Yamaha purchased PPI in 2008.
