Yanmar yesterday announced its sponsorship of the 37th America’s Cup. The 172-year-old regatta, which today pits AC75 foiling yachts against each other, will take place in Barcelona, Spain, between August and October 2024.

“We are truly grateful for Yanmar’s unwavering support of the America’s Cup over the years,” Grant Dalton, CEO of America’s Cup Event, said in a statement. “Yanmar’s dedication to innovation and excellence, and driving sustainability in the marine sector resonates deeply with the spirit of the America’s Cup, and we look forward to another thrilling edition of the race together.”

Yanmar has supported the America’s Cup since 2013, when it was the official technical partner of Oracle Team USA. It also sponsored the 35th and 36th installments of the regatta in Bermuda and New Zealand, respectively.

The race schedule for the event is as follows:

• Preliminary regattas: Sept. 14-17, 2023, Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain; Nov. 29-Dec. 2, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; August 2024, Barcelona
• Challenger selection series: August-September 2024, Barcelona
• America’s Cup Match: Oct. 12-20, 2024, Barcelona
