Yanmar America said it named Carl J. Micu division manager of Power Solutions. He will oversee all engine sales and will be responsible for the development of long-term growth plans for the marine and commercial engine segments.
Micu held similar roles with John Deere Power Systems for 15 years. He was most recently manager of OEM engine sales for the Americas, as well as global OEM drivetrain sales.
“Carl brings a vast wealth of experience and knowledge to Yanmar,” Ron Adams, Yanmar Americas director of Power Solutions, said in a statement. “He is a demonstrated leader with a long list of relevant product sales and marketing accomplishments.”
Last year, Yanmar earned an honorable mention in Soundings Trade Only’s Top 10 Most Innovative Marine Companies.
