After making what it called a significant strategic investment in its operations and infrastructure in the country, Yanmar Marine International says it has seen a strong increase in business and coverage in France.
Yanmar France SAS is open in La Roche-sur-Yon and the marine engine and propulsion systems manufacturer has 13 master dealers and 17 sub dealers across the country. YMI opened the facility last September to distribute products and services to support a re-established dealer network in the Netherlands.
Yanmar also said it has a full team of engineers providing support and the company is planning further expansion in France this year. The personnel are being led by general manager and YMI south west European regional manager Julio Arribas.
“YMI committed to making substantial changes in France to ensure a closer connection to the market and to focus on meeting the expectations of our customers in the country,” Arribas said in a statement. “With our office now fully operational and our national coverage crowing day by day, we are already seeing the impact of this strengthened presence in the form of clear business growth.”
Yanmar will be attending industry shows in France in 2019 and will launch new products and accessories, including the 4LV, 6LV and 8LV engine series.
