Marine exhaust manufacturer Centek Industries has developed a system to remove hydrocarbon pollution from genset exhaust water.
Centek said the Gen-Kleen system has been installed on more than 100 boats worldwide. It integrates into any generator’s wet-exhaust system to remove sheen, soot and unspent gasoline and diesel fuel from the exhaust water before it’s discharged.
Gen-Kleen systems are available for marine gensets from 5kW and up in two models to accommodate different engine-room layouts. The Compact Gen-Kleen integrates many system components into a single package. The larger Component Gen-Kleen spreads the components throughout the engine compartment.
