The Jersey Shore Boat Sale & Expo will open Friday at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, N.J.
More than 25 dealers will offer newly introduced 2017 models, 2016 models with attractive prices and used and brokerage boats at the three-day show, according to the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey, the trade group that produces the show.
The group said this year’s show will be the biggest one it has held. Nearly 300 boats representing nearly 70 brands will be on display.
“It is our goal as a boating trade association to offer an affordable opportunity for our dealers and retailers to sell their products and services. By keeping the costs low for the exhibitors to participate in the show, they are able to pass those savings directly on to the consumer,” MTA/NJ executive director Melissa Danko said in a statement.
The trade group said a boater’s marketplace outside and inside the stadium will enable visitors to shop for such things as marine services, electronics and equipment.
Children’s attractions will include Kids Cove, sponsored by the Lakewood BlueClaws and the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium, on Saturday and Sunday.
“In addition to being affordable, we strive to make it convenient and accessible for everyone,” Danko said. “The show is easy to get to, parking is free, and with both new and pre-owned boats available all in one place, there is something here for everyone. If you have never been to the show, make this the year that you go.”
