Florida-based Warbird Marine Holdings, the parent of Invincible Boats and Yellowfin Yachts, named Thomas Wieners chief executive officer. CEO John Dorton, who founded Warbird Marine Holdings in partnership with EagleTree Capital in 2019, will assume the role of executive chairman.
“Thomas and I have worked together for nearly a decade across businesses. During that time, I’ve watched him bring out the best in every team he leads — getting people aligned around a shared vision and building cultures that deliver results,” Dorton said in a statement. “His experience in powersports, automotive and aviation industries brings a fresh perspective that has already transformed our manufacturing capabilities and rallied our team around higher standards.”
Wieners joined Warbird in 2020 as chief operating officer and is credited with improving the company’s production processes, among other achievements. He developed and launched Warbird’s Center of Excellence for Composite Manufacturing in the Yucatán. Since 2022, Wieners has led the company’s product development, sales, marketing and innovation strategies.
