Zodiac Nautic North America has made two corporate appointments.
Greg Mathes has been hired as director of manufacturing. He is responsible for all aspects of production and distribution for the Summerville, S.C., headquarters. Before he came to Zodiac he was the production manager for American Air Filter. He has a bachelor’s degree in business statistics from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Mathes is assuming the role from longtime Zodiac employee Alan Brocious, who was recently promoted to vice president of research and development. Brocius is responsible for new model development/product enhancements.
He has been with the company for nearly 30 years and previously was national sales manager, warranty and service manager, and director of manufacturing.
“We are excited about these personnel changes for our company,” Zodiac Nautic North America president Gary Durnan said in a statement. ”Greg’s addition and Alan’s promotion are already proving to be positive moves for us as we continue to solidify in every way possible that we are, in fact, back in a big way as an industry leader.”
