Public relations firm Rushton Gregory said it agreed to represent China-based ePropulsion, a manufacturer of electric outboards, pods and saildrives.
Earlier this year, ePropulsion announced that it standardized its electric outboards to include hydrogeneration capabilities, 48-volt architecture, safety wristbands, an ergonomic tiller and brushless direct-drive motors. The company was founded in 2012.

“EPropulsion has a well-defined vision for electric propulsion that is evident in their product innovations and attention to detail,” Rushton Gregory principal and co-founder Rus Graham said in a statement.
Rushton Gregory will be tasked with promoting new-product launches, partnerships and expanding brand awareness of ePropulsion’s offerings in the North American market.

“We firmly believe electric boats are not a compromise,” said ePropulsion CEO Danny Tao. “In addition to the important benefits to the environment, electric-powered boats can be more comfortable, more economical and even more fun than combustion engine boats.”
