IMAGE COURTESY AZIMUT YACHTS Azimut Yachts announced yesterday that it partnered with dealer AZ Yachting Hellas, a new company created to represent the brand in the Greek market as Azimut Yachts Greece.
“Greece is one of the main markets for yachting in the Mediterranean, a preferred destination for yacht owners from all over the world, especially during the summer season,” Enrico Chiaussa, chief commercial officer of Azimut, said in a statement.
“Through our collaboration with AZ Yachting Hellas, we aim to continue the path taken with First Quality Yachts, to whom we extend our gratitude and further strengthen our presence in the area,” he said.
Founding members of Athens-based AZ Yachting Hellas include Marios lordanou, an Azimut dealer for Cyprus and Lebanon for more than 15 years, and Christos Ramnialis, who has held positions at Benetti, another brand of the Azimut|Benetti Group.
Headquartered in Turin, Italy, Azimut has production facilities in Avigliana, Fano, Viareggio, Savona and Varazze, as well as one in Brazil.
