Metstrade organizers today unveiled plans for this year’s show, which is scheduled for Nov. 15-17 in Amsterdam.
Organizers said in a statement that 90 percent of past exhibitors and 96 percent of previous attendees intend to return this year. Metstrade was cancelled in 2020 because of Covid-19 and in 2021 was held with stringent public-health restrictions.
“The industry is eager to be back at the world’s largest B2B leisure marine industry event after an extraordinary 2021 edition,” Metstrade director Niels Klaranbeek said. “We have created a balanced layout with key points of interest in every hall in close cooperation with our partners, such as ICOMIA and the Exhibition Committee. This allows us to accommodate Metstrade’s growth with more exhibitors, more space, more focus and an enhanced visitor experience.”
Features of the show include the return of the SuperYacht Pavilion, which will be situated in Halls 9-11, including a Holland Pavilion organized in cooperation with Holland Yachting Group.
Hall 12 will host the Construction Materials exhibit, which will showcase equipment for large production yachts and include an Italian Pavilion.
Electric propulsion technologies will be displayed in the Elicium Ballroom as part of the I-nnovation Lab. Entries for the DAME Awards will also be on display here.
Special-interest products will be displayed in the Marine and Yard Pavilion in Hall 5.
Organizers also announced that there will be more spaces where exhibitors and visitors can network and hold meetings.
