Brunswick Corp. announced yesterday that it appointed Alexandra Cattelan chief technology officer.
Cattelan, most recently a vice president at Polaris Industries, has more than three decades of experience in electric propulsion and related systems, Brunswick said in a statement.
She will lead the continuation of Brunswick’s ACES strategy, which stands for autonomy, connectivity, electrification and shared access, the statement said.
“Alex brings exceptional expertise and experience to the CTO role through her impressive 30 years of experience in developing and launching advanced vehicle technology across several industries,” Brunswick CEO Dave Foulkes said.
Cattelan previously held leadership positions at Fiat Chrysler, launching the Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid; Johnson Controls; AVL North America; and General Motors’ Chevrolet Volt program.
